Our Running Dates & Fares
Access to the site is granted upon purchase of an entry ticket which can be bought at the museum entrance or on the Rural Life Living Museum's website. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Summer Weekends (blue): Heritage Diesel hauled trains will depart Mills Wood station at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30 & 14:00.
Railway Wednesdays (green): Heritage Diesel hauled trains will depart Mills Wood station at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00 & 14:30.
Our fares
Standard fares for a return trip on the Old Kiln Light Railway are £3 per person. This does not include Special Events which may have different fares, more information will be released nearer the day of the event. A ride on the railway is free on railway Wednesdays with admission to the Rural Life Living Museum.
