HE7013 Weyfarer

AD38 - 'WeyFarer' - HE-7013

Built in 1971 for the Ministry of Defence as part of a batch of five hydraulic drive locomotives. HE7013 was numbered AD38 by the MOD and first saw service at Eastriggs Ammunition Depot in Scotland, replacing earlier Ruston type locomotives. Later in life AD38 was transferred to Lydd Ranges in Kent, where it was used for moving firing targets around the ranges. AD38 moved to the Old Kiln Light 6th July 2007. AD38 was named Weyfarer at the OKLR and has been repainted into the Red livery also carried by Red Dwarf.
