HE7011 Champion

Built in 1971 for the Ministry of Defence as part of a batch of five hydraulic drive locomotives. HE7011 was numbered AD36 by the MOD and first saw service at Eastriggs Ammunition Depot in Scotland, replacing earlier Ruston type locomotives. Later in life AD36 was transferred to Lydd Ranges in Kent, where it was used for moving firing targets around the ranges. AD36 moved to the Old Kiln Light 3rd July 2007. Originally named Galloway whilst in MOD Service, it has since been renamed Champion at the OKLR and repainted Blue.
