RAF Chilmark & RAF Fauld

The OKLR has a large variety of Hudson RAF wagons that were formerly based at RAF Chilmark and RAF Fauld. These types of wagons were used for transporting bombs or stone from the quarrying of underground storage bunkers.

The collection compromises various different flat wagons, wooden bodied dropside wagons and steel bodied dropside wagons. These often form part of the OKLR's demonstration freight train, which runs at select special events throughout the year.
