Hibberd (Planet) - FH.2528
FH.2528 was built by F.C Hibberd and Co Ltd at their Park Royal Corporation works in 1941 during World War Two. The 20HP locomotive was ordered by War Department. It was kept in stores as stategic reserve at the Ministry of Defence depot at Liphook, after the war it was sold to A.Streeter & Co at Catershall Wharf in Godalming, a civil engineers. It spent most of it's time in Streeter's yard, occasionally working construction contracts on temporarily laid rails. It was permanently loaned out to the Wey Valley Light Railway in June 1975, and was eventually purchased by the railway. In 1982 with the demise of the Wey Valley Light Railway 2528 along with much of the railway moved to Rural Life Centre to form the Old Kiln Light Railway.
